When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they
found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity
(Ink won't flow down to the writing surface).

In order to solve this problem, it took them one decade and
$12 million.

They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside
down, underwater, in practically any surface including
crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to
over 300 degrees C.

And what did Russians do???

The Russians used a Pencil!!!

One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese
management was the case of the empty soap box, which
happened in one of Japan's biggest cosmetics companies.


The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought
a soap box that was empty.

Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the
assembly line, which transported all the
packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department.

For some reason, one soap box went through the assembly
line empty.

Management asked its engineers to solve the problem.

Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray
machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people
to watch all the soap boxes that passed through the line to
make sure they were not empty.

No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they
spent whoopee amount to do so.

But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was
posed with the same problem, he did not get into
complications of X-rays, etc but instead came out with
another solution.

He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it
at the assembly line.

He switched the fan on, and as each soap box passed the
fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.

Moral of the story: KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) i.e.
always look for simple solutions.

Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the
problem

I am still in Holiday mood....

Was back from Penang last night around 11pm,
than bring my brother which already in KL sister house to visit my future room at Puchong.
When the time really back to sleep already midnight 2am.

This morning wake up like zombie...lucky still manage to reach office on time.
Busy here and making noise there...Ar~again first day of the week end up peacefully!

My Wheel show me how money can fly away...

Last Wednesday I was driving back to Penang after work from KL office.
Hit KL tol Plaza around 7pm++ not driving fast...most of time 110-120km/h...
okok...sometime is 130-140km/h...
...errr...alright I admit it the faster I go is 160km/h...I want to reach Penang early ma...

Traffic quite smooth although is Deepavali eve...may be because I am travel early that night.
Until somewhere near Bukit Merah my back wheel come out very weird sound...
so I am shut down my MP3 and listern carefully...
"what is that shhhuuuuuujooooo~sound come from?"...shit...don't know why...
my back wheel jam by don't know what reason!!!

I slow down my car until 80km/h with double signal and drive to nearest rest station...
...shit shit shit...my right hand real wheel hup spraying out the red oil thing...
Damn I just fix this wheel week ago because the bearing nut spoild now it happen again???

I give my brother a call about this...my stupid brother keep laugh on me...drive slow lor what to do...

I know tolling a car back to Penang are cost me RM200...
I damn kelukut(Stingy) and calculative 1...so drive back slowly lor...
some time the sound make noise I will slow down to 70~60km/h...
when he not making noise and "I forgot" still can go until 110km/h!(lucky the wheel not fall out)

When the time I reaching my house already 10:30pm...
find a place to park my car than me and my family come point here point there...
What else can do? Sleep 1st next day only ask someone to fix it!

So next day my father friend (which use to fix all my family car few year already) come and collect it 2pm...and wooooo...his give my dad a call...
I am damn lucky the car still can drive me back safely to Penang.
When he manage to open the car wheel cover...the whell was just pull out together...

THE...WHEEL...WAS...JUST...PULL...OUT...TOGETHER...WITH...THE...WHEEL...COVER...

...yes...you allow to read it few time and I can told you are not reading wrong...
damn it the whell bearing I replace last week was totally crack to don't know how many piece...
and the brake hub bearing hole already mealt until run out the shape...

ok...at least I still manage to get back Penang safely...
